About this Treatment Our Hyaluronidase Filler Dissolving treatment safely dissolves unwanted or misplaced hyaluronic acid dermal filler using Hyaluronidase, an enzyme that naturally breaks down hyaluronic acid within the body. This treatment may be recommended in emergency situations where vascular complications are suspected, to correct unsatisfactory filler results, reduce overfilled areas or prepare the area for fresh treatment. It is also suitable for clients who simply wish to remove previously placed filler before starting again. Once administered, Hyaluronidase begins breaking down the hyaluronic acid filler, allowing your body to naturally eliminate the dissolved product over time. At Abi Cole Aesthetics, our priority is always achieving safe, balanced and natural-looking results. Sometimes, dissolving filler is the most appropriate step towards achieving that goal. Treatment Information Treatment Time: Approximately 30–45 minutes Downtime: Mild swelling, tenderness and bruising may occur following treatment. Anaesthetic: A topical numbing cream is available if required. Treatment Course: Some clients achieve their desired result in a single session, while others may require multiple treatments depending on the type, quantity and age of the filler being dissolved. Before You Book A consultation will be carried out before treatment to confirm that the filler being treated is hyaluronic acid-based, as Hyaluronidase is not effective on permanent or non-hyaluronic acid fillers. For clients planning further dermal filler treatment, we generally recommend waiting at least two weeks after dissolving before re-injecting filler to allow the tissues to heal and the final result to be assessed. Pricing Treatment is priced per vial of Hyaluronidase used. Additional vials are charged at ₦25,000 per vial, should they be required during treatment.
Booking Policy
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please provide at least 12 hours’ notice. Cancellations or changes made with less than 12 hours’ notice will result in the forfeiture of your booking deposit. Clients with treatment packages who fail to attend their appointment or repeatedly cancel at the last minute will forfeit one session from their package. Please note that no-shows or repeated short-notice cancellations may require full prepayment for future bookings. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late to your appointment, this may result in your session being cancelled and your deposit forfeited.
