About this Treatment Our Post-Operative Recovery Massage is a specialist treatment designed to support your recovery following cosmetic or medical surgery. Using Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) alongside advanced recovery therapies, we help reduce post-operative swelling, encourage healthy lymphatic drainage and support your body's natural healing process. Each treatment is tailored to your stage of recovery and may include Manual Lymphatic Drainage Massage, Therapeutic Ultrasound to help soften areas of fibrosis and fluid build-up, and Red Light Therapy to support healing and reduce inflammation. Your practitioner will adapt the treatment to your individual needs and your surgeon's recommendations. Our goal is to help you recover as comfortably as possible while supporting the best possible outcome from your surgical procedure. This treatment may be suitable if you are recovering from: ✓ Liposuction ✓ Tummy Tuck (Abdominoplasty) ✓ Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) ✓ Breast Surgery ✓ Body Contouring Surgery ✓ Other cosmetic or medical surgical procedures Your Recovery Journey Week 1–2 • Focus on reducing swelling and encouraging healthy lymphatic drainage. Week 3–6 • Continued swelling management and support for tissue healing. Week 6–12 • Scar tissue management where appropriate, contour refinement and ongoing recovery support. (The exact schedule will depend on your surgery and your surgeon's recommendations.) Treatment Information Treatment Time: Approximately 60–90 minutes Downtime: None Anaesthetic: Not required Recommended Course: We recommend an initial course of 10 treatments, beginning as soon as your surgeon advises it is safe to start. Your recovery plan will be tailored according to your procedure and healing progress. Before You Book Please ensure you have been medically cleared by your surgeon before attending your first appointment. If you are unsure when to begin post-operative massage, we're happy to advise you before booking. Bringing your post-operative instructions or surgical summary to your first appointment can also help us tailor your treatment plan.
Booking Policy
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please provide at least 12 hours’ notice. Cancellations or changes made with less than 12 hours’ notice will result in the forfeiture of your booking deposit. Clients with treatment packages who fail to attend their appointment or repeatedly cancel at the last minute will forfeit one session from their package. Please note that no-shows or repeated short-notice cancellations may require full prepayment for future bookings. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late to your appointment, this may result in your session being cancelled and your deposit forfeited.
